By Yim Hyun-su
GFriend has confirmed it will release a new album titled “Time for Us,” ending a hiatus of six months since the group’s last album “Sunny Summer” in July.
The group broke the news with a teaser image of a woman in a white dress running away from the camera through a field at sunrise, a fitting image as New Year approaches.

“Time for Us” will be the group’s first studio album in 2 1/2 years, following the group’s first studio album “LOL,” released in July 2016.
Having debuted in 2015, GFriend boasts a number of hit singles, including “Glass Bead,” “Me Gustas Tu” and “Rough.”
The group’s second studio album, “Time for Us,” is slated for release at 6 p.m. on Jan. 14.
