Uncertainty surrounding the production of TV series “Four Men” is growing, with the production company unable to pay wages.
TV series “Four Men” has been a much-anticipated series, starring Park Hae-jin and Nana, a former member of girl band Afterschool. As a pre-produced production, it is slated to air in the second half of the year.

However, it was revealed by industry sources Tuesday morning that only four of the 16 episodes have been shot from January to mid-May. The shooting has been put on hold since, as the production company has not paid some actors and staff members their wages.

It was initially reported that producer Jang Tae-you, a star-producer who directed the 2013 hit series “My love from the Star,” is the reason behind the production coming to a halt, with reports stating that he has not been in contact for months due to personal reasons.

The production company later revealed that the producer had to receive treatment for excessive stress stemming from the wage issue.

The production has been in trouble ever since a subdivision of Park’s talent agency, Mountain Movement Entertainment, left the co-production. Victory Content is the sole production company at the moment, and is unable to cope with the production costs.

“We are looking into a solution. The series will be produced no matter what,” an official from Victory Content said.
