Actress Kim Ji-won revealed her ideal type of man in a live interview held to promote her upcoming film “Detective K: Secret of the Living Dead” via Naver’s V app Thursday.

She said, “Well, I don’t specifically have an ideal type but I hope he would be someone who is warm and thoughtful.”

The actress was then asked whether she cares about looks.

“Everyone has their own taste. I hope his appearance would fit my taste,” she said.

The new “Detective K” film, based on the novel “The Banggakbon Murder Case” by Kim Tak-hwan, tells the story of Kim Min, or Detective K, and Han Seo-pil, who look into a serial murder case during the reign of King Jeongjo in the Joseon era.

Kim Myung-min will reprise the role of Kim Min, while Oh will play the role of Han again. Kim Ji-won plays the female lead who loses her memory and joins the duo’s investigation.

The film is scheduled to hit local cinemas on Feb. 8.

Gugudan

The members of K-pop girl group Gugudan talked about their recent interests in a live broadcast held via Naver’s V app Thursday.

“If I don’t have any work the next day I play games until late,” Cho Hye-yeon said. “There was a time when we stayed up the whole night playing a game with bandmates. It relieves stress.”

“We also hope to become models for a game,” Kim Se-jeong said.

Kim picked cooking as a recent hobby. “I have great interest in cooking for my bandmates. I suddenly became immersed in cooking.”

“My mom sends me her dishes. (Cooking) became interesting as I tried to recreate the taste of my mom’s dishes,” Kim said.

However, her bandmate Hana said, “I feel pressured sometimes when she asks me ‘Do you want me to cook for you?’ when I’m not hungry.”

Gugudan released its second single album “Act.4 Cait Sith” on Thursday.

VIXX

K-pop boy band VIXX invited fans to join its official fan club named “Starlight” via the V app Thursday.

“Finally, we are recruiting the fifth batch of our official fan club Starlight, who are VIXX’s reliable life-time companions,” the group said in a relay.

“I can recall the memories we have had together with Starlight,” N said. “We are very excited thinking that we are going to make new memories with the fifth batch of Starlight fans,” Ravi said.

“There are many things prepared … so please look forward to it,” Leo said.
