SBS’ drama “Doctors” has emerged top in local viewership with 19.2 percent in ratings, beating competitors such as MBC’s “Monster” and KBS 2TV’s “Beautiful Mind.”

The series, which stars actor Kim Rae-won and actress Park Shin-hye, saw19.2 percent in viewership ratings for its eighth episode on Tuesday, 0.4 percent higher than its Monday episode, according to market research firm Nielsen Korea,

The highest viewership ratings for the series was for its sixth episode, at 19.7 percent.

“Monster,” which stars actor Kang Ji-hwan and singer-turned-actress Sung Yu-ri saw 11.2 percent in viewership ratings, while “Beautiful Mind” was at 4.3 percent.
