Actress Lee Seung-yeon and Super Junior’s Leeteuk shared their views on plastic surgery ahead of the launch of their new makeover show “White Swan,” local media outlets reported on Tuesday.
“As I age, I want to look more like a ‘pretty boy.’ (I want to have a) Round chin line, sharp nose, and big, bright eyes,” Leeteuk said, “I once went in for a consultation session with a plastic surgeon, and he told me that plastic surgery isn’t a cure-all, and that I should live according to my character.”
Both Leeteuk and Lee hold the view that excessive plastic surgery that overrides one’s identity is not right.

Although their upcoming TV program deals with plastic surgery, the two said the show will not attempt to change a person by only altering their appearance. Rather, it will seek to help people regain confidence by providing personalized surgery, enhanced living conditions and opportunities to step into society.
“White Swan” will begin airing in May on cable channel JTBC. The show is currently recruiting participants.
