Apink ranks 2nd on Oricon weekly chart

K-pop girl group Apink snagged the No. 2 spot on Japan’s Oricon weekly music chart on Wednesday with “Mr. Chu.”
The sextet’s second single in Japan, “Mr. Chu” broke into the Japanese music market on Feb. 18 and sold 54,000 copies on the first week of its release.
“NoNoNo,” Apink’s first Japanese single, was released in October 2014 and ranked fourth on the chart.
The group will release a Japanese version of its song “LUV” this May and will introduce it at “Girls Award 2015 Spring/ Summer” in Tokyo on April 29.
