The 20-year-old, a member of K-pop girl group AOA, made her big-screen debut in the film released on Wednesday, in which she plays Kim Seon-hye, a younger sister figure to Lee Min-ho's character Kim Jong-dae.

"(Seon-hye) thinks a little differently from girls these days," the singer-actress said in the accompanying interview.

"I'm thankful I can perform and act at the same time because it's an opportunity for me to gain visibility and also more experience."

Seolhyun, who is clad in a beige sleeveless turtleneck in the photo released by GQ Korea, also stars in the KBS2 reality program "Brave Family," set on Mechrey, a floating island in the Cambodian lake Tonle Sap.
