Red Velvet win fashion points, not awards

Members of the K-pop girl group Red Velvet were spotted at Incheon International Airport on Wednesday. The singers were headed for Beijing to attend the 29th Golden Disc Awards, considered the highest accolades in the Korean pop music industry.

Wendy stood out with her plaid frock and light blue sheepskin-style jacket.

Seulgi paired her gray knit turtleneck with an oversized coat and skinnies.

Joy wore a burgundy coat and white brogues, while Irene matched wine-red skinnies with gray Converse shoes.

The 2015 Golden Disk Awards are currently under way. The rookie girl group was nominated for the Golden Disc Best New Artist Award, which boy bands GOT7 and WINNER jointly took home on Wednesday. Red Velvet was also nominated for coveted Digital Track of the Year, but Big Bang's Taeyang snagged the award for his single "Eyes, Nose, Lips." However, Red Velvet did get a follow-up New Rising Star Award for their "Happiness" track.

The awards ceremony concludes Thursday evening.
