New K-pop girl group GFRIEND released the teaser of its debut single "Glass Bead" on their official YouTube channel on Tuesday.

Source Music Management, an agency representing the new idol group, said its debut EP "Season of Glass" with the title song will be released this Thursday.

The teaser showcases their fresh and squeaky clean image as teenage school girls. In the video, they gossip and giggle together around school, in classroom and at the gym. The accompanying music is similarly optimistic, with romantic lyrics and a catchy upbeat melody.

With their youthful energy, the group -- including Sowon, Yerin, Eunha, Yooju, Shinbi, Umji -- is targeting the teenage audience. Their image is said to be as delicate and clear, yet also as resilient as glass beads.

GFRIEND's EP "Season of Glass" can be purchased online and offline from this Jan. 15.
