Lee Won-suk, the film director of the movie “The Tailors,” praised its star Park Shin-hye’s quality as an actress.

“Park is always prepared for anything. Even when the director abruptly changes his mind about the filming, she naturally goes along with it,” Lee said during an interview with a local news outlet Tuesday.

“Also, since it was the first time for her to participate in a period film, Park consulted various experts to overcome difficulties in her scenes,” he added.

“I have seen so many directors complimenting Park as an actress. They have told me that Park will be the leading actress in the upcoming generation of the film industry. I agree with those words,” the director said.

“The Tailors” deals with a story happening in “Sanguiwon,” a place inside the palace used by tailors for the formal clothes of Joseon era kings. Park plays the queen while other starring actors include Park, actor Go Soo, Han Suk-kyu, Ma Dong-suk and Yoo Yeon-suk.

The period film was released in theaters Tuesday.
