Former KARA member Nicole released her first solo album, “First Romance,” on Wednesday. The digital tracks of the album and the music video for “MAMA,” the lead single, were released at the same time.

The album was produced by the production team SWEETUNE, which has long worked with the singer. Nicole played an important part in all aspects of the recording process, according to her agency.

The songs on the six-track EP are about the beauty of love, breaking up and longing.

“MAMA” is about a girl who is innocent and polite at home but secretly goes on dates with her boyfriend. It features impressive synthesizer and slap bass sounds. Its melody accentuates the singer’s unique voice.

The choreography for the song was made by famous American choreographer Luam Keflezgy and Jemel McWilliams. Fans are eagerly awaiting the performance, to be revealed soon.
