YG Entertainment’s new unit group Hi Suhyun topped local music charts with its debut EP on Tuesday, within hours of its release.

As of Tuesday morning, Hi Suhyun’s “I’m Different” rose to the top of the eight major real-time charts, unseating the longstanding No. 1 track “Did You Miss Me?” by Korean rapper MC Mong.

The talented female vocalists -- Lee Hi and Lee Su-hyun of brother-sister duo Akdong Musician -- teamed up to form a unit group and dropped the debut EP “I’m Different” at midnight on Tuesday.

In the R&B song, Su-hyun’s cheerful vocals harmonize with Hi’s deep, soulful voice, as well as the stylish rapping of Bobby, a member of YG’s soon-to-debut boy group iKON.

“The result is more than we expected,” said an official from YG.
